Computed Flows

The Computed Flows menu item provides a way to calculate discharge from the EE_BC.OUT file for boundaries such as hydraulic structures. After the model has finished running the EE_BC.OUT file will be generated. RMC on a boundary and select view Flow Output Plots to calculate the flow through the hydraulic structure as shown in Computed Flows#Figure 1.

Example plots produced by the View Flow Output Plots function are shown in Computed Flows#Figure 2 for a flow through a hydraulic structure

An alternative method for calculating flow through a hydraulic structure in a particular cell is to RMC on that boundary and then select View Hydraulic Structure Cell Flow. Select View Hydraulic Structure Group Flow if you want to calculate flow through a boundary group as shown in Computed Flows#Figure 3
