Water and Mass Flux Tool

The flux comparison tool is provided to assist the user in calibration of flux or flow across a user defined line as shown in Figure 1. The user should browse to a poly line that specifies the line across which the flux will be calculated.  A number of Flow Options are provided by selecting the radial buttons. Options include Dominant Flow, I Direction, J Direction and Total Flow. The user may also specify a time range over which the flux will be calculated in the Date Range to Extract the Fluxes frame. 

Note that EFDC computes velocities on the west and south faces of each cell.  For accurate fluxes all of the flux calculations by EE are made on the west and south face metrics.
