Message Boxes

When using CVLGrid, message boxes are used to display information about the generated grid cells. To view these message boxes, click on any cell in the current grid. Immediately a yellow box appears in the workspace with information about that particular cell. This message box displays four pieces of information:

  • L – The cell number starting with # 2
  • I,J – Cell indices
  • Cell Area – in m2
  • Corner Order – Clockwise or Counterclockwise


Only one cell's information can be viewed at a time. The message box can me moved by clicking within its border and dragging it to another spot.
