Particle Tracking

When the using the Particle Tracking functions, the user is able to configure the display characteristics of the particles in the Particle Tracks tab as shown in Particle Tracking#Figure 1. The user is able to set the Time History of the particles, such as whether to display:

• the entire track to the current time,

• the entire track (for the whole time),

• the recent history of the track, up to a time specified by the user,

• current position of the particle only.

In addition to this, the user may also specify the width and colors of the tracking lines, and set the symbols for the particles.
