Orthogonality

A measure of how perpendicular grid cells are, 90^o is optimal.

Orthogonal Deviation

The deviation angle away from 90^o.

Orthogonalize

The act of "improving" a grid, so its grid lines are more perpendicular.

Refine

Increasing the cell resolution of the grid.

Coarsen

Decreasing the cell resolution of the grid.

Spline

A line that is used to define the boundaries of a grid, four splines are required to generate a grid.

Polyline

The P2D shape file the user uploads into Grid+ usually serves as an outline to draw the splines.
