This option allow user calculate the erosion rates for each grain size class through the equation E = A*Tau^N with A, N elements will be defined in Erosion Rates tab as Figure 1 below. Moreover, with this option, user can define the maximum erosion rate of each grain size class.

In Core Definitions tab, beside of setting the critical shear stress and bulk density as well as percentage of the grain size distribution in Bed Layer Properties and Grain Size Distribution frame for each layer core as option 1, user need to define A, N and maximum erosion rates of each sediment bed layer in SEDFlume Measured Erosion Rates frame as shown in Figure 2 below.
