The feature of Create a rectangular grid is used to generate a structured grid with two dimensions. Figure 1 highlights the Create a rectangular grid button in the main toolbar.

The Rectangular Grid form (shown in Figure 2) allows the user to select the cell size in meters, the growth factors, and the number of cells along the I and J direction. The user can also select UTM zone (Universal Transverse Mercator ) from 1 to 60 and Location of Focal Point with longitude and latitude coordinate (degree). It is also possible to rotate the grid by entering an angle in degrees in the Rotation box. Figure 3 presents the generated rectangular grid generated.
