This page describes the various operating systems we have tested and regularly use to run EEMS.

It should be noted that this information relates to the latest EEMS version.

EFDC_Explorer

Minimum Required Specification

Operating Systems: 64-bit Windows operating systems. Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows Server (2012-2019).

Target framework: .NetFramework v4.7.2

CPU: Any modern x86-64 or AMD64 CPU

Memory: 4GiB DDR4


  • EE10 can run on Apple Mac computers running the Windows OS
  • EE10 can be run on Virtual Machines running the Windows OS

DSI Specification

Systems DSI regularly uses internally for EFDC_Explorer

Operating Systems: 64-bit Windows operating systems. Windows 10 Pro, and Windows Server (2012-2019).

CPU: Intel i7, i9, & Xeon CPUs. AMD Zen2 CPUs (Epyc & Ryzen).

Memory: 16GiB DDR4

EFDC+

Minimum Required Specification

Operating Systems: Windows or Linux* operating systems. Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows Server (2012-2019). 

Target framework: .NetFramework v4.7.2

CPU: Any modern x86-64 or AMD64 CPU

Memory: 4GiB DDR4

* Running EFDC+ on Linux requires a separate executable compiled for Linux systems.

Operating Systems: Windows 10 Pro, Windows Server (2012-2019), CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu. 

CPU: Intel i7, i9, & Xeon CPUs. AMD Zen2 CPUs (Epyc & Ryzen).

Memory: 8-16GiB DDR4


Cloud Computing

EFDC+ can be run with various cloud-computing services such as Amazon AWS.
