This section contains methods to assist the user to assign the ice initial conditionsfrom provides tools and options for setting the initial conditions for temperature and in particular ice in the Initial Conditions for Ice Thickness frame. Note that it is required to activate the ice temperature module in the Modules menu ( see Ice Module) When an menu to access the ice ICs.
When the Assign button is pressed, the Apply Cell Properties via Polygons form is displayed with appropriate options for that parameter ( seeas shown in Figure 1).. Here the user can set the ice thickness. The options and format of data files to upload to are described in Apply Cell Properties via Polygon.
