In the General tab, the user selects the second option as shown in Figure 1. This option will calculate the erosion rates for each grain size class through an equation E = A*Tau^N with A (Erosion Multiplier), N (Erosion Exponent) elements will be defined in Erosion Rates tab as shown in Figure 2. Moreover, with this option, user can define the maximum erosion rate of each grain size.

In Core Next, the user goes to Core Definitions tab, beside of setting the critical shear stress and bulk density as well as percentage of the grain size distribution in the user fills to the grid frame of Bed Layer Properties and Grain Size Distribution frame for each layer core as option 1, user need as described in Erosion Rates Option 1, for the grid frame of SEDFlume Measured Erosion Rates , the user needs to define A, N, and maximum erosion rates of each sediment bed layer in SEDFlume Measured Erosion Rates frame as shown in Figure 2 below3.
