The following steps introduce how to create a grid:
- From the Splines menu, select Draw a New Spline or click on the Add a new spline button from the main menu.
- LMC to start drawing spline, RMC to end drawing spline. Two first splines need to be done.
- Next, keep using the drawing splines mode, LMC on the beginning node of the first spline then RMC on the beginning node of the second spline.
- Next, LMC on the ending node of the first spline then RMC on the ending node of the second spline.
- Result is a closed splines created from four splines.
- Next, select the Select object button from main toolbar, LMC on inside the splines, then splines will be highlighted (turn into red)
- From the Splines menu, select Create Grid from Splines or click on the Create The last two splines are drawn along the sides of the domain and must intersect the previous two splines (Figure 1)
- RMC on the Splines layer in the Layer Control, then select Create Grid... option or click on the Create Grid from Splines button from the main menu, as shown inĀ Figure 2
- Create Grid from Splines form will pop up as shown in Figure 2.
