The options available to the user in Parameter drop down menu as shown in Adding the layer of Particles in 2DH View for Particle Tracks provides the user with a number of options for display of particle tracks and oil spill. If the drifters are displayed instead of oil then various Color Options may be selected, including color by elevation, by depth, by layer, by time or by group. The position of particles at current time option is shown in Figure 1.

RMC on the Particles layer in the Layer Control, the user selects Edit as shown in Figure 2 to have different option display of Time History as shown in Figure 3. There are 3 options of exposure time to display the particle as Display Entire Track to Current Time; Display Recent History; Current Position of Particle Only.

Select Properties in Figure 2, the form of LPT Properties appears, the form allows the user set general option and group options for particles as shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5.
