The Export button provides a number of options as shown in 1149960298 . These options are described in the table below.

Export to EFDC: export the selected grid layer to the EFDC input file (including files. The three files produced are the corners.inp, dxdy.inp, lxly.inp), these files can open with EEMS. Doing this allows the user to edit a grid and then reopen it in EEMS without changing the boundary conditions. If the user wants to create a wholly new model, including the EFDC.INP etc, then that should be done in EE rather than in Grid+ .
Export to Shapefile: export the selected grid layer to the shapefile, which can open with ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, and others.
Export to KML: export the selected grid layer to the KML file, which can open with Google Earth, Global Mapper, and others.
