In order to navigate the 2DH View, EE provides the Change View button in the menu and main form, which has four options as shown in 2055438337 which are described below
- Zoom To Rectangle: when this option is selected, the user can move mouse cursor to an area of interest on the grid then RMC and drag the cursor to create a rectangle. This function also can be activated by selecting the icon in the main toolbar and can be used with the keyboard stroke ALT + RMC.
- Pan/Shift: when this option is selected, the user can move model grid domain in the direction of mouse cursor. This function is also can be used from icon in menu toolbar or with SHIFT + LMC from the keyboard.
- Previous View: go to previous view of the 2DH View. This function is also can be used from icon in menu toolbar.
- View Full Extents: automatically zooms out so that everything in the 2DH View is shown. This function can be activated by selecting the icon in the main toolbar or CTRL+ E from the keyboard.

A new feature has been added in the latest version of EEMS to enhance the ship track animation when the ship is moving. The feature can support the user to focus on the moving path of a ship and observe the jet impact behind the ship.
In 2DH View, the user needs to add the ship track layer in the prop wash group ( as shown in Figure 1 )

Please select and turn the active mode of the ship track layer. RMC on the ship as shown in Figure 2, then the ship information will present and the track of the ship will be highlighted with the red line. Moreover, the option of Set Focusing Objet is available.

Select the feature “ Set Focusing Objet” and click the Animate button in the main toolbar. Now the animation of the current ship track will be focused in the window, and the user can easily observe the shipping path and the jet impact behind the ship like Figure 3.

After the animation, RMC and select “Unset Focusing Object“ to stop focusing.
