Density Effects Factor
The Density Effects Factor (Figure 1) allows users to modify the timing to full transition physics. Buoyancy can be adjusted with a buoyancy factor that must be between 0 and 1, with 0 being no buoyancy influence and 1 being full buoyancy influence.
Disable External Density Gradient for 2-Cell Channels checkbox:
It allows users to optionally enable or disable the updated external density gradient calculation. This enhancement was introduced to improve numerical stability in model regions containing narrow channels that are only two cells wide. The user's model contains several short sections that resemble two-cell-wide channels. Since these sections are relatively short, the updated external density gradient calculation can create a slight imbalance in these areas, producing the vortices observed in the velocity field.
