Creating and Importing Grids

The Grid Type frame contains the primary selection of the various grid generation functions: Cartesian, for creating a Cartestian grid in EE, CVLGrid, for loading a grid built by DSI's CVLGrid 2D grid generator, and Import Grid, for loading third party grids. Each for these are described in detail in the following section.

The contents of the center frame, Grid/Element Generation Options, will vary depending on the option selected in Grid Type. Creating and Importing Grids#Figure 1 shows the frame contents for the Cartesian grid type which is furth described in the next section.
